Buyer Programme
Join us in Rotorua, the birthplace of international tourism in New Zealand. TRENZ promises to deliver an exciting programme that brings buyers and New Zealand’s leading tourism businesses together to do business and build strong connections. Buyers also have the opportunity to experience Rotorua’s tourism experiences first hand on famil activities.
The buyer programme includes:
- Official pōwhiri
- Up to 52 prescheduled 15-minute appointments with sellers over the two and a half days
- Rotorua famil activities on Tuesday 6 May
- Networking focus with extended networking events including a revamped Welcome Function on Tuesday evening, a light breakfast on the show floor on Wednesday and Thursday, and a relaxed networking function at the end of the day on Wednesday
- Haere rā hour
- Four nights of accommodation (5, 6, 7 and 8 May)
The Celebration of Tourism function will be held on the evening of Thursday 8 May and hosted by RotoruaNZ and their partners. Attendance is complimentary for buyers. If you wish to attend, please select this item when you register to be allocated a ticket.

Rotorua TRENZ Famil Activity Programme
Rotorua offers unforgettable experiences with its incredible geothermal landscapes. Walk along the edge of a volcano crater, unwind in natural hot pools and spa therapies, or embark on extreme adventure activities like ziplining, whitewater rafting, or mountain biking. Beyond the thrill-seeking, Rotorua also offers peaceful eco-cruises on luxury catamarans, scenic nature walks, and enriching cultural encounters with Māori traditions.
The Rotorua famil activities will take place on the morning of Tuesday 6 May.
You will be able to request your preferred famil activities when appointment requests open on Tuesday 25 February 2025.
Pre and Post TRENZ Regional Famils
Joining us for TRENZ in 2025? Why not visit some regions before or after the event. Pre and post TRENZ regional famils are organised by Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) and are the perfect opportunity for you to get to know the regions of New Zealand first hand.

TRENZ CONNECT
The TRENZ online platform - TRENZ Connect, is where you can update your company and delegate profile, and search seller listings.
Here are our top tips to get the most out of the platform:
- Make connections – Connecting with sellers is an easy way to maintain existing relationships and establish new ones. To connect with a seller, simply click on their company listing and select ‘Connect’.
- Review your company profile – We recommend you regularly review your company profile to ensure all information is up to date and relevant to sellers.
- Update your delegates – Have you had changes to your team? Review and update your delegates. It is also important to ensure the correct person is assigned as your company’s ‘TRENZ Contact’ as they will be the one to receive important information in the lead up to the event. You can do this in the Organiser Portal by clicking the ‘delegates’ tab along the navigation bar.
Please note only invited international buyers will be able to register to attend TRENZ 2025. Other buyers will need to submit an application.
