TRENZ is supported by an 'always on' digital platform. The online platform (TRENZ Connect) allows international travel trade to access the details of New Zealand tourism companies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, no matter what time zone they are in.
TRENZ History
Previously known as Tourism Rendezvous New Zealand, TRENZ started in the 1960s as an annual travel trade show based in Auckland. The earliest iterations of TRENZ hosted about 30 exhibitors (sellers) and buyers.
Today, TRENZ is a hundred times its original size and boasts an international reputation as a preeminent business event. Since 1999, TRENZ has taken place in key centres around New Zealand including Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown and Wellington.
