Sudima Hotels and Resorts
At Sudima Hotels we have one passion – you, we are here to help you make the most of your day and bring a smile to you. We pride ourselves on providing the friendly, personal service guests would expect from a world-class hotel and we ensure they have everything needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. But what makes us different, are the little things. It could be a warm welcome, a thoughtful act, a kind word or a genuine smile. They may seem like small gestures, but when travelling, they make a guest feel at home. We believe that giving guests a sense of belonging, of being a welcomed client rather than booking number, is important.
We are a family business, we welcome all but are chosen by those who share our values and what we value most; our people, our community, and our environment. We take our responsibilities as an ethical business seriously and pride ourselves on going above and beyond the standards expected of us. Sudima Hotels’ guests can rest-assured that they’re staying with people who care about more than just profit, and who will always do the right thing – whether it’s easy or not.
Sudima Hotel’s started small, then as people got to know us, we grew. But we have always held dear to our values. Our staff are like family and through them we can continue to deliver on our promise. So no matter which of our hotels a guest chooses, they’ll be able to make the most of their day and come away smiling.

Our passion is people. For our guests on holiday we are a gateway to fresh adventure and experiences. The start of new memories. For our business guests, we are here at the end of a long day on the road or at the start of a busy day of meetings. Regardless of the reason to stay with us we believe it’s the little things that make a big difference. Irrespective of where guests are coming from, or heading to, we appreciate not many people would choose a hotel bed over their own. It’s a necessity. So we feel a real responsibility to get it right.

Christchurch International Airport
Christchurch Airport is the international gateway to the South Island. It is the busiest and most strategic southern air connection to the world’s trade and tourism markets, with ten airline partners offering more than 10,000 domestic, trans-Tasman and international services without curfew each year. It is also the smallest city on the planet to have a daily A380 service.
The airport welcomed more than 6.8 million passengers in the 2018 financial year and is on target to exceed that in the current financial year. It is a major driver of the South Island regional economy, with about 7000 personnel working for 250 companies on the airport campus making it the largest site of employment in the South Island. The airport is one of the partners in the SOUTH initiative, which sees all regional tourism organisations working collegially to promote the South Island internationally. Most of the South Island’s rental vehicle fleet is housed on the airport campus and more than 80% of the island’s air freight comes into two purpose-built facilities on the campus.
The airport is consistently rated by an independent international quarterly travellers’ survey as the best airport in Australia and New Zealand and was the only New Zealand airport to win a category in this year’s World Airport Awards.
