Southern Lakes Welcome Function

Queenstown Airport will transform into the hottest venue in town for the Southern Lakes TRENZ Welcome Function on Monday 7 May at 7pm.

From the red carpet welcoming you in, you’ll know you're in for a special night to celebrate the start of TRENZ 2012. Giant multimedia screens will showcase the sights and sounds of this spectacular region while the food and wine will feature some of the area's finest produce.

“The Southern Lakes region is delighted to welcome our industry partners both old and new to our beautiful part of the world for a second year,” says Southern Lakes Chairman Jeff Staniland. “It is a great pleasure to share the stunning natural environment and numerous activities and facilities the Southern Lakes region has to offer as we know they sell themselves and promote not just the Southern Lakes but all that New Zealand has to offer.”

TRENZ Buyers and Exhibitors attendance of the full TRENZ programme have one inclusive entry to this function. Day pass holders will not receive a ticket to attend.  Tickets are not available for purchase for this function.
For those driving their own vehicles, courtesy of Queenstown Airport car parking is available for this function.

 


Daily Lunches

For TRENZ 2012 there will be one lunch sitting each day. Daily lunches provide informal networking and an opportunity to meet new people during informal gathering dining with food and beverage service.

Farewell Function

The TRENZ 2012 Farewell Function at Queenstown’s Steamer Wharf on the shores of Lake Wakatipu will be a fabulous event.”

Spread across eight restaurants and bars and the vintage steamer The Earnslaw (which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year), you’ll find a venue to relax or party – as the mood takes you after three days of intensive business activity. It will also be a chance to meet up with colleagues and other suppliers and vendors you haven’t had a chance to see.  

“On behalf of The Steamer Wharf, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to host the TRENZ farewell event,” says Martin James, Head Chef at Wai Restaurant. “We are very much looking forward to opening all our doors and inviting you into our unique space. The Wharf chefs have joined together to create a wonderful menu showcasing much of our local cuisine matched with some of my favourite New Zealand wines. So get excited, get hungry and we will see you soon."

Valid for entrance to the TRENZ Farewell (one attendee only). Tickets are non-refundable and not transferable.
All delegates receive one (1) complimentary ticket to the TRENZ Farewell (unless specified).
This has been made possible with extensive sponsorship support and we encourage your attendance.
Additional delegates may purchase tickets for staff or partners.


Networking outside the official TRENZ programme

The period while TRENZ delegates are in New Zealand is an excellent opportunity for Exhibitors to host social functions or familiarisations for Buyers and/or Media. However, these activities must be organised outside the TRENZ programme. Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to host Buyers and Media at their booth during TRENZ.

Unauthorised 'hosting' of Buyer and Media delegates during the TRENZ programme will incur, a fee of $5,000 + GST (minimum) for each incident. Please see the Exhibitor terms and conditions, clause 7 for further information.
